What Was Jennifer Lopez’s Las Vegas Residency?
Up All Night Live in Las Vegas was a concert residency created for The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Rather than touring from city to city, Lopez performed a scheduled series of shows at the same venue.
The residency officially opened during New Year’s Eve week, with performances on December 30 and 31, 2025, followed by shows on January 2 and 3, 2026. Eight additional performances were scheduled for March.
The production was designed to take audiences through different parts of Lopez’s artistic journey. It combined songs from her catalogue with theatrical staging, choreography, costumes, lighting, and video effects.
According to Caesars Entertainment, the approximately two-hour production included more than two dozen numbers and was divided into four dynamic acts.
For fans, the appeal was the chance to experience several parts of Lopez’s career in one performance. The show brought together her dance-pop hits, her connection to Broadway-style performance, and the storytelling that has accompanied her career.

Where Did Jennifer Lopez Perform in Las Vegas?
The residency took place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, a major live entertainment venue on the Las Vegas Strip.
The venue has hosted concerts and residencies by internationally recognized performers. Its indoor setting provides a dedicated environment for productions that use elaborate staging, sound, lighting, and large video displays.
For a concert residency, performing in one venue offers several advantages:
- A purpose-built stage: Production teams can develop a show around the venue’s layout.
- Consistent production quality: Lighting, sound, choreography, and visual effects can be refined across performances.
- A destination experience: Fans can combine a concert with restaurants, hotels, shopping, and other Las Vegas attractions.
- A focused performance schedule: The artist can perform a series of shows without traveling between cities for every concert.
Although the residency has ended, The Colosseum remains a useful venue to know about if you are exploring other Las Vegas residencies and live entertainment.
What Songs Did Jennifer Lopez Perform?
One of the main attractions of the residency was its selection of familiar songs from Lopez’s career.
The official show announcement highlighted several of her best-known hits, including:
- “On the Floor” — a global dance-pop hit.
- “Jenny from the Block” — a song closely associated with her public identity.
- “Get Right” — an energetic release from her mid-2000s catalogue.
- “Love Don’t Cost a Thing” — one of her recognizable early-2000s songs.
- “I’m Real” — a major hit associated with her collaboration with Ja Rule.
- “Ain’t It Funny” — another popular song from her catalogue.
The residency also featured Broadway classics and music that influenced Lopez’s development as a performer.
The exact running order and selection of songs can differ from promotional highlights. The list above should therefore be treated as a selection of songs associated with the production, not a complete, guaranteed setlist for every performance.
Did Ja Rule Appear During the Residency?
Yes. According to Caesars Entertainment, Ja Rule made a surprise appearance during the opening performances, joining Lopez for “I’m Real” and “Ain’t It Funny.”
The appearance brought a live element to two songs that are closely connected with the artists’ musical history.
For longtime fans, collaborations and guest appearances can make a concert residency different from listening to the original recordings. They can also create memorable moments that are unique to a live performance.
What Made the Show Different From a Regular Concert?
A residency is not simply a series of concerts held in the same place. Productions are often designed around a specific venue and can include theatrical elements that would be harder to reproduce during a fast-moving tour.
Lopez’s Las Vegas production combined several features.
1. A career-spanning musical experience
The show brought together music from different periods of Lopez’s career. This gave longtime listeners a chance to revisit familiar songs while experiencing them in a live setting.
2. Choreography and dance
Dance has been central to Lopez’s public identity since her early professional career. The residency incorporated choreography and group performances into its larger production.
3. Costumes and visual effects
The production used costumes, lighting, video, and special effects to create a theatrical atmosphere. These elements helped distinguish the residency from a concert built around a basic stage and backing band.
4. Personal storytelling
The show was promoted as a journey through Lopez’s development from her early life in the Bronx to international entertainment success.
This combination of music, storytelling, and visual production helped give the residency a broader narrative than a simple collection of hit songs.
Jennifer Lopez’s Previous Las Vegas Residency
Before Up All Night Live in Las Vegas, Lopez performed Jennifer Lopez: All I Have at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.
That residency ran from 2016 to 2018 and included 120 performances. Caesars Entertainment reported that the production grossed more than $100 million.
The earlier show helped establish Lopez as a major Las Vegas residency performer. Its success also provided a foundation for her return to the Strip several years later.
The two residencies took place during different stages of her career, but both were built around the appeal of seeing a globally recognized performer in a dedicated live production.
A residency also differs from a traditional tour because fans may travel specifically to see the artist in Las Vegas. This can make the concert part of a larger holiday or entertainment trip.
How Much Were Jennifer Lopez Las Vegas Residency Tickets?
Ticket prices for the residency depended on the performance date, seat location, ticket seller, and availability at the time of purchase.
Because the residency has concluded, its old listings should not be treated as current ticket offers. Prices shown on resale websites may also differ from original prices and may include additional fees.
For future performances, the safest approach is to check the artist’s official announcements and an authorized ticket seller.
Before purchasing tickets for any concert, consider these points:
- Confirm the artist and venue.
- Check the exact performance date.
- Review the seat location and view.
- Check service fees and the total checkout price.
- Read the ticket seller’s refund and resale policies.
- Avoid sellers that promise tickets without providing clear order confirmation.
Important: There are no current tickets to the completed Up All Night Live in Las Vegas residency unless an official new run is announced. The existence of old ticket pages does not confirm that the show has returned.
For future events, start with Ticketmaster’s Jennifer Lopez listings.
